The Art of Blowdries – A Day I’ll Never Forget
Today I had the most amazing day training with my mentor, Shannan, and I honestly left feeling so full , full of knowledge, confidence, and pure gratitude. From the moment I arrived, Shannan’s aura just made me feel calm, welcomed, and seen. She’s so detailed in her teaching, and what stood out most is how much care she put into the little things – she truly has an eye for detail and a heart for teaching.
Whenever I felt confused or unsure about something, she went over it again with ease and joy – no judgement, no pressure, just support. That’s rare. You can tell she genuinely wants you to win and believes in you even when you hesitate.
What made this experience so special is that Shannan is not just an educator – she’s a passionate hairdresser, too. She understood my pain points straight away, because she’s been there. Watching her journey and how beautifully she executes her bouncy and curly blowdries gave me the courage to really master mine. It reminded me why I love hair in the first place – it’s an art.
A massive thank you to the beautiful models who were so patient and kind – it meant the world. And honestly, finding a course that teaches proper bouncy and curly blowdries is hard to come by… but I’m so glad I found Shannan. Her one-to-one training is perfect if, like me, you learn best through visuals and hands-on guidance.
Today has shown me just how powerful it is to learn from someone who pours passion into their craft and teaches from the heart. I left inspired, excited, and ready to elevate the services I offer with new techniques and confidence.

After a lot of research on bouncy blowdry courses I came across Shannan! From start to finish she made me feel so at ease, especially as I had no professional hair experience! Coming out of the course I feel I have so much knowledge and little tricks under my sleeve to achieve the best possible results! She was so patient and supportive with me even when I repeated my mistakes several times and I generally felt as she was proud of me when I got it right and achieved a good technique. She also educated me on how and why choosing the right products for different hair types and lengths was key, which has made me so excited to try my new learnt skills on a variety of people! Overall, well worth the 3hr trip!!
